The MWC from Barcelona is becoming more interesting day by day. A late report from Wall Street Journal confirms a Nokia launch at MWC: an Android phone. The important fact is that the phone won;t be compatible with Google's Play store and other Google applications. A sources said that:
"Tailored in a way that won’t promote some of the key Google-developed features that a more traditional Android-powered phone might."The new device from Nokia will have an own store with Android apps and it won't have the old Google Maps or Gmail, it will feature apps from Microsoft and Nokia, that includes Mix Radio feature or Here map service. This partnership is up from last summer when were rumors that Microsoft want to buy Nokia. It seems that Microsoft is using Android software as it cuts some costs from it's mobile division. The new product is codenamed Normandy. It will have entry-level specs and has a hybrid design between Android and Windows Phone. The design is similar to Asha line.Nokia's event at MWC will take place on February 24th and it's called "Under the tree". Maybe the event name it's a possible clue for the name of device, we don't know, but we are sure we will watch closely the event.
