There have been reports among Moto G 3rd generation users that they have received an Android 6.0 Marshmallow soak test on their devices. The Android Marshmallow update notification is what most Moto G third generation users, hope to also see on their handsets. The Moto G 3rd generation was launched just recently by the Motorola company with an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. The company had promised that the Moto G 3rd generation would be among their Moto devices to receive the Marshmallow software update. It seems the company has already began working on the official update release, especially if this soak test is anything to go by. A soak test is a smaller sample of the version update developed to test its stability before the official major release.According to the official Motorola support page, the Android Marshmallow update will be available Moto G third generation on both Sprint and AT&T network carriers.A few Moto G users in the US and Europe may be invited to try out the Android 6.0 soak test in the coming days. Unlocked versions and retail Moto G3 editions  available in the Europe and USA regions may even receive the official Android M update before Moto G3 carrier editions in India and Middle East which are expected to get it by the end of this year.
