Huawei has just recently made known the list of their devices they plan to avail the Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the coming days. One of those lucky devices, happened to be Honor 7, which will be the first of its line to enjoy Google’s latest software version.Previously the Honor’s marketing executive stated that an Android Marshmallow beta created for Honor 7 should be expected in around four weeks. True to its promise, Honor has kept their word as a new Android Marshmallow is being rolled out. This beta test however, will currently be available to only owners in the UK regions. UK owners who want to be a part of this test, should head over to the Honor’s assigned signup page to register their devices.Android Marshmallow’s beta software version will include the latest Huawei EMUI v.4.0 user interface.Though, this is only part of the Marshmallow software, it signifies that the complete and final build should be expected to roll out soon after. It is still unknown when the rest of the Huawei devices will receive the Marshmallow update.Some of the Huawei devices scheduled for the Marshmallow update include: Honor 7i, Huawei P8, Huawei P8 Max, Honor 6, Huawei 4C, Huawei G8 (Chinese version), Huawei P8 Youth Edition, Huawei Honor 6 Plus, Huawei X2 and Huawei 4X.

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
