It's no secret that development for the next version of Android started quite some time ago. But it's only now that we get official information about the Android 11 beta launch!

According to the official YouTube channel of Android Developers, the official beta launch will take place virtually on June 3! Here's everything we know about it!

Android 11 Beta Launch

The next version of Android is officially almost here and we expect to get a closer look at it on the 3rd of the next month!

Google doesn't go into too many details about it. Chances are the event is only going to be a live stream due to the coronavirus pandemic, though.

Other than that, we also don't get a lot of information about features (Even though we already got a small peak at the very first beta versions). But, the teaser does mention that we're going to see new features and functionality in terms of:

  • Connectivity
  • Control
  • Safety
  • Security
  • Productivity
  • Accessibility
  • And more

Android 11: New Features

While we don't have any official information, we still got to look at one of the very first betas. So, we already have a small idea of what to expect.

From what we've seen so far, there's going to be at least a pre-installed screen recorder, new options/settings for chat heads, Dark Mode scheduling, new Bluetooth options, and a few other, under the hood improvements!

Just keep in mind that this is what we got from a very early version of the OS. There is a good chance that we'll see more features in the official beta presentation and there's also no guarantee that what we've seen so far isn't going to change.

That's all for now. Feel like we forgot to mention something important? Got anything wrong? Then let us and everyone else know about it in the comments section down below!
