How to read WhatsApp messages without alerting the sender
You can easily share audio recordings, images, share your current location, share live recordings and upload small videos. We have some nice tips and tricks that work with WhatsApp that will help you get the most out of the application.
Listen to audio messages secretly
Audio messages are often played on the main speaker and this allows the nearest person to hear as well. However, there is a simple solution for this problem; just hold the smartphone close to your ear. The proximity sensor thinks that it’s a standard smartphone call and it automatically switches the speakers.
Send a single message to multiple people
In case you do not know, latest WhatsApp update has a great feature that lets you send the same message to a number of your contacts without the recipients. To use this feature, go to options and tap Options and then hit New Broadcast. Select the name of people you want to send the message. You will be able to see who opened the message. The best part of this is that you will be able to get a response from them separately.
Send messages on WhatsApp with Google Now
In case you are unable to use your fingers, you can use Google Now to send messages on WhatsApp by speech interface.Start it manually or say OK Google if it is voice enabled. Then say send [message] [name of the recipient] on WhatsApp. For instance, ‘send I like you to James on WhatsApp’. The application will then ask you to confirm. You can do that vocally or press the arrow.
Stop WhatsApp media auto-download
The auto download feature can be sometimes annoying especially if you are part of a group which insists on sending hundreds of memes. Those images can consume your data and memory and worse of, they can end up in front of a wrong pair of eyes.To stop this disable the auto download feature. Go to Options and tap settings. Hit data usage and you will be direct to ‘Media auto download’. Uncheck all the boxes to disable the auto download.
