Tweet and take notes from Android’s Quick Settings Panel

Creative ideas are always short-lived, so you have to take them down quickly before you forget them. For instance, let’s say you think of a perfect status while you are using your smartphone. You start with existing the application you are using, and by the time you go to the home screen and open Facebook, you forget what you were to say.Instead of rummaging through your application to find the one you want, what if you can swiftly jot down that thought from any screen you are and the select an application to share. There is that kind of application for those running Android 7.0 Nougat or higher.

Install Notedown

Firstly, install Notedown Tile which is a free app from Play Store.

Add Quick Settings Tile

Swipe twice from the top of the device’s screen to expand the Quick Settings menu fully. Hit the edit button which is pencil-shaped. Swipe down to the bottommost of the list and then find the tile market ‘New note Notedown.’Tap and hold the tile and drag it upwards to the topmost of the list. Drop it at the darker gray area so as to make it active. After you have done that, press the back button.

Share notes from any screen

Now when a creative idea strikes, immediately open the Quick settings menu with any screen. Hit the Notedown icon. You will then see a notification. Hit the ‘Write’ button and then type your idea. Then click on the send button and you will see the Android’s share menu. Pick any service from the menu’s list and then your note will be posted.
