and Android users, Bomgar
is a smart remote support solution where users can access support technicians from any remote location. Once accessed, users are able to connect to end-user systems via their mobile or computer device. There are many support enabled elements which can be activated with this secure solution.
Logging into the representative console is the initial step to enable representative login. To access this area, install the Bomgar representative console. The console will then launch during this installation time. After launch, the user will see a prompt to enter their username and password.
After this option is enabled and completed, log in to be directed to the representative console. the Bomgar icon should appear and show window should appear. Click on show window. This will complete the access to the representative console. Enabling security support features are important to further support Bomgar.
Another feature for Bomgar users, is supporting session policies. Supporting session policies can be accessed by having the order hard-coded by Bomgar. The session policies which are then hard-coded by Bomgar cannot be changed or overridden. The user will find policies then applied to jump client, public portal, representative and global default settings.
The user can only apply one police for when an element is present and then another when an element or customer is not present. To assign a session policy, the user simply has to go to jump client for example and make sure jump client is deployed during an active support session. The user can also change the session policy to deploy jum client. The session policy can also be applied by the user to go through a public portal. Session permissions could also be accessed as public if the user has an active customer session.
Selecting a Bomgar session policy can be accessed through the session policies age. The user can then edit the permission to change the policy options. Do not associate a session policy as there is no session policy set for an element. The user should define permission options making sure they are valid for current elements being configured.
Bomgar is a safe and secure solution for Android. These session policies and features can be easily troubleshooted. The user can access the session policy simulator and navigate to login users and security area. Next, the user can select the appropriate session start method such as bomgar button, jump client, jumpoint, public portal or local jump. Then the user will touch simulate. This will active the method.
