There is very little debate over the fact that Google Maps is among the best Android navigation apps available for free. Since Google is known for their attention to details, you can always find interesting features in their apps, like the ability to find gas prices in Google Maps.Whether you are on a road trip looking for a place to fill up, or just looking for the cheapest gas station, Google Maps can help. The feature is built into Google Maps version 9.16 and up, so make sure you have the latest version of the app to get started.
On the right side of the navigation screen, tap on the magnifying glass icon to uncover other navigation options. You will be able to see a list of the following options:
Tap on the Gas stations to view all the nearby gas stations that fall on your designated route. By zooming into the map, you can find the different gas stations and their distance from your current location.
To find gas prices of the stations that fall in your route, tap on the red icon that highlights the name of the gas station. Once you have found the right gas station, tap on “Navigate” to head over there from your current location.

Find gas prices in Google Maps for Android
Head over to the Google Maps on your Android device and create a route if aren’t already using the app for navigation. Once the app has created your designated route, the pathway (marked in blue) will appear, alongside other options.- Voice navigation

- Coffee shops
- Search for more places
