Android has had its fair share of addictive games such as Flappy Bird and Candy Crush, but nothing has ever come close to Pokémon GO. If you are among the early adopters of this megalomaniacal game, then you know how frustrating it can be when there are no Pokémon around you to catch.
However, you don’t have to start walking a hundred miles every day or driving around town to “catch em all”. The easiest way to find new Pokémon is to fake GPS location in Pokémon GO and jump up to another region without actually going there.
Step 1: Download Fake Location Spoofer Free
To fake your GPS location in Pokémon GO, you don’t even need to root your device. With the help of an amazing app called Fake Location Spoofer by Megapps Ventures, you can fake your location to be anywhere in the world.
Step 2: Enable Developer Options
Before you can begin using the Fake Location Spoofer app, you need to enable Developer options. Head over to the Settings app on your device and scroll all the way down to open “About phone”.
In the new window, scroll down to find the “Build number” entry and tap on it multiple times, until you see the message “You are now a developer!”. Once you have enabled this setting, you will be able to view the “Developer options” entry right in the Settings.
Once you are in the Developer options menu, scroll down to find “Mock location app” and open it. From the window that pops up, select “FakeGPS Free” and you are all set to fake your GPS location.
Step 3: Fake GPS location in Pokémon GO
Go ahead and open the Fake Location Spoofer app and you will be able to see a map of the entire world. Pinch-zoom into any part of the map and once you’re satisfied with your location, double-tap on it.
You can then go ahead and press the orange play icon to begin spoofing your location, which will also create a notification in your pull-down menu. Now go ahead and open the Pokémon GO app on your device and you will be able to move around on your fake location.
