Whether it is the watch on your wrist or the phone in your pocket, gesture-control is the future of smart devices. Tap to wake is popular among Android devices, despite which Google chose to leave out double-tap wake on Nexus 6P.
Whether you know it as “Knock on” feature by LG, or “Active Display” by Motorola, tapping twice to turn on your device display is as cool as it is practical. Although double-tap wake on Nexus 6P does exist, it requires the device to be rooted for it to actually work. With the help of an app called Double Tap Wake for 6P, you can activate tap-to-wake on your rooted device.
