A screen capture is just like a printscreen on the PC, it's an instant photo of the screen.I will now present you the two was to make a screen capture on the S4:Using the keys:
  • By pressing Home and Power keys you can take an instant capture of the screen. You can then view the image inside the Gallery in the Screenshots folder.
Using the Motion Gestures:
  • Galaxy S4 uses motion gestures to perform various actions. These gestures function with several motion sensors that are part of the device's hardware. The 'palm swipe to capture screenshot' gesture can be turned on in the motion settings menu. You can access this menu by going to Settings>My device>Motions and gestures>Palm motion. Then just turn on the 'Palm motion' and 'Capture screen' options.
  • Now that you activated the options, you can make a swiping gestures across the screen either from left to right or the other way around.
  • You can also preview the screenshot by going to the Notification Panel. You will see the notification there.
TIP: In the notification Panel, just after the screen capture is taken, you can touch the notification with two fingers slightly apart and pull down to reveal the 'Edit, Delete and Share' options.
