It can get very irritating when you are trying to download an app in your android phone or tablet and a message pops up saying “Insufficient Storage”. Most of the times, due to lack of awareness, people end up changing their phones, but your phone has a lot more space than you think. So, next time you see “Insufficient Storage Error” don’t panic, just follow these steps and you will be able to create space in your device to download the apps of your choice.

If your Android phone is slowing down follow our post “5 Things you Can do to Speed-up Your Android Phone”

Step 1

The first thing you have to do in order create room in your android device is download an app that is very small in size, but if your phone does not even have space for that, you will have to delete some data from your internal memory. This is because all the apps are initially stored in the phone memory. If you have songs or photos in your internal storage, it is ideal to either transfer them to your SD card or delete them as they take up a lot of space.

Step 2

Once you have cleared some of the phone’s memory, you can now download “App Cache Cleaner – 1Tap clean”.

Step 3

After downloading the app, you will be able to create room in your android device as it clears all the apps’ cache on your phone or tablet.  You just have to open the app and let it scan your device. If you want to clear a particular app’s cache, you can do that by tapping on the “rubbish bin icon” on the right hand side of each app. If you wish to delete all the cache, you can simply press the “Clear” button at the bottom. Your phone or tablet should now have enough space for you to either download or update the apps you want.
