Owning a smartphone has become a necessity. With the numerous applications available, people have had use of them on a daily basis at any place since you always have your smartphone with you. There are a number of advanced Android external keyboards available that can help make your activities easier. More so, some of us still prefer the ease and conventional sense of the traditional keyword. Thus, we want to extend the Android keyword experience by using an external USB hardware.  You may not use this every time but the moment you’re replying to an email or you need to have some long writing, the Android external keyboard will be of great help.An external Android keyboard allows you to type at a reasonable speed which can’t be achieved when typing on the phone’s screen. To start with, one needs a USB OTG (USB on-the-go) cable so that you can connect your USB keyboard to your device. The USB OTG will allow you connect the USB peripherals allowing you to also use some of the other USB devices which include a USB flash drive. However, before purchasing USB OTG cable, you should do some research to see whether your Android phone supports it. The above mentioned cable should fit into your phone the same way the charger cable fits. You can purchase this cable online and have it shipped to your location conveniently. So that you can start typing, you need to have the cable plugged into your Android phone. You will then plug in the Android external keyboard. If the software keyboard takes so much space on your screen, you can have this fixed by tapping the button located at the phone’s screen to minimize it.In order to set your own layout, you can have the External Keyboard Helper app installed on your phone. There’s the Colemak layout and others which will be available from the menu. If your Android software keyboard doesn’t disappear, the app will also help with this.
