We have already helped you learn how to delete your Google search history, but what about a way to clear search history in Google Play Store app? Even if you do clear your Google browsing history, it does not remove the apps, movies, or terms you have searched in the Google Play Store.
Whether you’re tired of seeing all your old searches pop up every time you search for an app in the Google Play Store or want to delete anything you’ve searched before, there is a way to do it right from the app itself.
Clear search history in Google Play Store
On the home screen of your Android device, head over to the Google Play Store app. From the main screen of the Play Store app, tap on the three-line hamburger menu on the top-left corner of the screen.

Tap on the Settings tab and you will be able to see a list of different options in there. Right under the “General” section of the settings menu, you will find the option to “Clear local search history”.
Once you tap on this button, all your previously searched term on the Google Play Store app will be erased. Although there is no confirmation window, the search term definitely gets deleted and you can check it out yourself by looking up any term in the search field.
