imagesAndroid is nowadays the best operational system for mobile phone because of it’s large variety of applications which can be used for gaming or other useful stuff. The total number of Android apps is over 0.7 million. However, you should know that some of them are dangerous for your device.Everybody knows what is a virus or malwares, but if you aren’t used with the terms from a PC, you should know that they can make your phone move real slow or even not working at all. All Android smartphones have a good protection, but you can still improve it if you feel threatened. You should know that if you choose to improve your phone security, you will stay away from recorded phone calls, unauthorized purchases or loss of some accounts information. You should be very careful with the QR codes or links that are redirecting you to other pages or ads because infected applications are usually installing without permission. The best thing you can do to avoid such problems is to never use GPRS for downloading, but this is one of the most important reasons why you bought a smartphone. So, if you want to have a good protection, read the advice below and try to use it.First, you should know that the best places to buy from are The Android Marketplace or The Amazon App Store. Another good tip is to check the applications name before you download it and also, check the number of downloads of the application. If the applications has a large number of downloads, it is almost sure that is safe. You should also look for strange words or misspelled. Almost every time, viruses use a very close name version of the original application. Another good tip is to avoid downloads from the ads. If you find something interesting, you should go to the Market and download it from here.Keep in mind that the Market is not 100% safe. So, you will need to be very careful with your downloads. Also, you must pay attention with the process of installation. If a strange message appears on your screen, you should stop the process immediately. However, the best tip is to install a power antivirus such as AVG, which will run into  the background and will use only a small amount of your battery. If you installed a malicious application even if you were careful, you can do something to remove it. First, you should uninstall the application by accessing Settings, Application, Manage Applications. You will simply select the application and press the Uninstall button. If this isn’t working, you should try the antivirus scanning tool. The worst case is to reset your phone. Before doing that, make sure that you back up your data.
