Setting up your Google Voice as your voicemail seems a pretty cool thing to do. This process is quite simple, only if you are not a Verizon Wireless customer. For the Verizon customers there are additional steps to make. For the other users, the process is like this:

1. Go to Google Voice page and sign in.

2. Click on the upper right Settings tab.

3. Click Add Another Phone.

4. Enter the name of the device that you have, then enter the phone number.

5. Click Save.

After you click Connect, there will be sent a code through you phone. You must introduce that code to verify the device. Then you can click Activate Google Voice  After that you will receive more directions and the last thing press call to activate.

In the last months, Google Voice received some new features like;  you can set multiple messages for different callers, and much more. We don’t know what will happen with this service, as rumours say it will be enrolled in Hangouts service.
