Stock Android device have the Google now home screen which is a nice thing to have. Galaxy devices don't have such a feature, they have a clumsy way to access this useful feature. On some devices you could enter Google Now by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. But doing that you can accidentally launch it. So here are the steps to install it properly
1. Disable the default action for a double press on the Home feature. You then have to launch S Voice, and for there tap on Settings, then uncheck "Open via the home key".
2. Download Home2 Shortcut app.
3. After installing it, launch it and scroll down to Step 1. From here you can choose the app to launch by double pressing the Home Button. Tap Choose Application and from the Installed Applications choose Google.
4. Next step is to choose the speed for taping.
This is the simpler way to access Google Now. There are other ways to do so, like opening a Google search bar on a home screen and there you have also the Google Now card.
