Like any other great smartphone, the LG V10 has its own fair share of problems that owners struggle with. Here are some of the most common issues users experience and a few ways to resolve them:

LG V10 Battery Life

The LG V10 is packed a large enough battery power that should last you through at least a normal day use with some charge left to spare. If it isn't the same for your LG V10 device and you are sure power-hungry apps aren't responsible then the issue may be software-related. It is unlikely that the problem is caused by an aging battery as witnessed on old smartphones, which isn't the case with the LG G3.

Solutions

Reduce the screen brightness, as devices with large screen are power-intensive thus making the display dimmer can boost your battery life.Go to your Settings and check out for apps using GPS, this also is another well-known battery drainer. Apps other than Maps that could be using your GPS location include Facebook and Twitter. To lessen the GPS usage, navigate to Settings >> Location >> Mode >> Battery Saving. For outdoor activities such as runs, you only need to make use of the High Accuracy setting which is already demanding.

LG V10 Battery Problems

For most users plagued with excessive battery drains, it is usually resulting from an app either running in the background or one that employs even more power necessary.

Solutions

To check the apps using most of your battery power, go to Settings >> Device >> Battery. You will get an overview of the apps and services arranged depending on their individual power consumption on your device. If an app shows more power usage than the display then it means you have a rogue app that you need to uninstall to resolve the problem. You can reinstall the app if you wish but if the issue occurs once again then it may be a good idea to uninstall the app permanently.Restrict background data. To do this, go to Settings navigate to Networks, select Mobile Data then tap on the Menu tab. Opting for background data restriction, hinders apps from using data in the background, which makes a difference to your phone's battery life.Syncing apps may also be using battery power without your knowledge. To disable automatic syncing of apps, head to Settings, tap the General tab then select Accounts & Sync.

LG V10 Wi-Fi not connecting

There are many potential reasons that can prevent your LG V10 from connecting to Wi-Fi.

Solutions

Temporary fixes for this issue can be the removal of the microSD card, a phone restart after which you can try reconnecting once again.Alternatively, if the router is the culprit then a simple reboot will resolve the problem. Otherwise, forget the network in your device's Wi-Fi settings then add it again.

LG V10 Overheating

Android devices can get hot for a variety of reasons, either being in a warm place, while charging, or when using an processor-intensive task. This does not however signify an issue but it is not a good thing either.

Solutions

Consider getting removing the case while using it, avoid keeping it in direct sunlight and only charge it with its original charger. What other LG V10 Problems have you come across? Let us know in the comments.
