Download Nova Launcher from the Google Play Store
Navigate to the Settings app on your Android device, scroll down to find the Home menu and open it. Pick Nova Launcher from the list and make it your default launcher by choosing “Clear Defaults”.
Press on the option and select the scrolling orientation from the pop-up screen – Horizontal, Vertical or List. Once you have chosen your preferred orientation style, exit the Nova Settings and check out the app drawer to see the change for yourself.

Once you have installed the Nova Launcher app on your Android, it should automatically turn into your default launcher. However, you can also manually turn it into the default launcher for your Android device.
