If you’re trying to catch a cheating husband or wife, then your best bet is doing it by using their phone.
As we’ve previously mentioned numerous times before, smartphones are now a part of our lives. Chances are that your spouse is using one as well in order to arrange his/her meetups.
So, why not take advantage of that and use your phone to spy on them and catch them on the act? Let’s get right into it!
We do not condone spying on other people. But, sometimes, it’s a necessary evil. They can be used for things like tracking your child’s behavior and making sure that they shouldn’t visit any online or offline places that they shouldn’t. Or, in our case, trying to make sure that our significant other isn’t cheating on us.
For most people, including Updato, that’s about as far as spying apps can be used without being harmful.
We will not be held responsible for any potential misuse of these apps. If you end up being caught while spying on someone that you shouldn’t or anything like that, well, it’s all on you.
And with that out of the way, let’s move on!
Spyzie is one of the best tools to catch a cheating husband or wife. Not to mention that it also makes for a great parental control tool.
One of the best things about it is that it can be installed on the target’s phone to monitor everything – without actually requiring root access.
This is something very important to keep in mind. Because if an app requires root access and the phone is not rooted, then you’re in for one big adventure (Depending on the phone and how easy it is to root).
One of the main reasons that we recommend this app is because of how much access it offers to your spouse’s device.
It can be used for monitoring messages, calls, app usage, locations, keystrokes, camera shots, clipboard, and anything like that.
Furthermore, you can also use it to capture screenshots of specific moments, block apps, look at the Wi-Fi networks that the user has been connected to, and also access to the browser history.
There is no doubt that this is one of the most invasive apps that are out there at the moment. But, then again, desperate situations call for desperate measures.
One thing in particular that we haven’t seen in most apps is the option of looking at deleted pictures.
Last, but not least, is the “Alerts” feature. Alerts can be used to keep an eye on specific contacts, locations, or even words. And when the app detects anything, you’ll be alerted.
It can even detect when the user changes SIM cards – if he/she does.
If there’s one downside, then that’s definitely going to be pricing. The cheapest version of the app starts at $30 per month with limited control over the phone.
- Doesn’t require root access
- Offers almost complete surveillance over the user’s phone
- Free trial
- Asks for a monthly subscription with the cheapest version lacking certain features
Unlike Spyzie, Couple Tracker is a two-way app – meaning that both people can watch what their significant other is doing at any given time. So, since both people know what’s going on, it’s definitely not a spy app per se.
It can still be considered an invasion of privacy. But, when both parties have agreed to this, is it really an invasion? Your call to make.
In any case, Couple Tracker can definitely be used to catch a cheating husband or wife. However, things are probably going to be much tougher with this one.
After all, despite offering most of the basic features that one needs to catch a cheater, your spouse will be fully aware that you’re looking at what he/she does.
Still, if we indeed have a cheater on our hands, then a moment of carelessness is all that’s necessary. And with an app that monitors everything 24/7, it’s just a matter of time.
That being said, the biggest downside with Couple Tracker is that you can easily bypass it by using a secondary phone. After all, since both parties know that the app is installed, the cheater can come prepared with a secondary phone.
At the very least, you’ll be making cheating much tougher and if your spouse is indeed a cheater, then the chances of him/her being caught at some point will skyrocket.
The good thing about Couple Tracker is that it offers a free version. The only problem is that it’s limited down to tracking 5 phone calls per day, 2 text messages, 30 characters per message, and 15 location records.
And if you need more? Well, thankfully, at the very least, the full version is several times cheaper than Spyzie.
- Offers a free version
- Doesn’t require root access
- Premium versions are much cheaper compared to the competition
- Makes its presence well known for both users
Spyera is one of the best apps to catch a cheating husband or wife. However, it’s also one of the most expensive.
Still, it gives us everything that we can find in the above-mentioned apps and even more. To be more specific, there is the option of listening to phone calls, record them, and also listen to any surrounding sounds that the mic can capture.
Do keep in mind that this is considered illegal in certain regions. So, check your country’s laws and don’t blame us for anything.
The biggest disadvantage to all this is that in order to get access to all of the features of the app you don’t just need to pay a lot of money, but you also need a rooted phone. And rooting can take quite a lot of time – which is an issue when there is not a whole lot of time to quietly install the app while the potential cheater isn’t watching.
Thankfully, there’s also the option of ordering a phone with the app pre-installed. But, that’s obviously a rather expensive option – unless your spouse needed a new phone anyway and the timing is convenient for a “Gift” or something like that.
With all that being said, is this app worth the extra effort and money? We’ll leave the decision making up to you.
- Offers more features compared to its competitors
- Option of ordering a phone with everything pre-installed
- Free trial
- A bit expensive
- Requires root access for all the features to work as they should
That’s all we’ve got for now. We hope you found the right app for you – and that nobody was cheating.
If you’re still not sure which app to choose, here are their pros and cons in a nutshell:
- Spyzie: Offers all the basic features without requiring root access – but it’s paid
- Couple Tracker: Offers the bare essentials and a free version with the premium variants being the cheapest out of the bunch – but it also requires both people to be aware of the app’s existence
- Spyera: The most powerful app – but also the most expensive while some features require root access as well
