1. Transform Your Home Screen

Unlike many smartphones, Samsung has come up with yet another exciting feature to make its device more user-friendly. The all-new Samsung Galaxy S6 allows you to change the home screen grid size.  The option allows you to put in a lot more apps on your home screen. So, if there is an app that you use on regular basis, you don’t have to open the app drawer, new folder or different screen to access it. You can simply put this app on the home screen by changing the home screen grid size. Simply press and hold the home screen button and click on “Screen Grid” you will two different sizes, 4x5 and 5X5. You can choose the size that best suits your needs.The long press also allows you to edit the panels of on your home scree. You can remove, add, or rearrange the icons from here. You can also make any of these panels as your main home screen by simply taping on the home icon (present at the bottom of the screen).

2. The Download Booster

One of the most awesome features on Galaxy S5 was the download booster. No surprises, the Samsung decided to integrate this feature in the all new Galaxy S6 too. Users are required to turn on this feature as it isn’t active by default. What it does is, it puts together the speed of both LTE and WiFi and help download large files quicker.To get this feature go to system settings and look for “More Connection Settings”. Once you have opened it, simply turn on download booster and you will some high speed download. This however, can eat up a lot of data.

3. Get Rid of Unwanted Default Apps

It can get really annoying when you can’t get rid of the default apps on your device. You can disable them but you can’t get rid of them. With Samsung Galaxy S6, however, things have taken a turn. You can now not only default apps from running in the background, you can also remove some of them completely.There are two simple ways of removing these apps, go to app drawer, press edit and now u can delete any app by tapping on the minus sign on the top-right corner. If the app cannot be deleted, the device will simply disable it and it won’t run in the background ever. You can also go to the “Application Manager” in the settings and find the app you want to delete.
