So your kid accidentally deleted some important text messages on your android handset? It happens sometimes. Could be an important note from a loved one, or some instruction SMS from your boss at work. You need to restore the deleted message(s) like yesterday, and you’re wondering how best to go about it. Your Google Play search ends up in several ‘top-rated’ solutions that either don’t work for your handset, or take too much of your time before you can get any meaningful results. I have been in the same situation multiple times. It sucks! It’s the end of the line for your frustrations. Fonepaw, an easy tool, lets you recover all your deleted text messages in 3 straightforward steps. It’s premium but gives you a free trial period extending 30 days with all features working. That’s probably more time than you’ll need to recover all your deleted SMS.

Step 1: Download Fonepaw

The Fonepaw text recovery tool for Android works perfectly with most popular handset brands, including HTC, Samsung, LG, Sony, Motorola, Google Nexus, etc. Just open http://www.fonepaw.com/ on your browser and download either the Windows or Mac Version on your PC.

Step 2: Install and Connect

Install the downloaded file on your PC and then launch the Android Data Recovery tool. Link your smartphone to Windows using a USB cable. You’ll need to turn on USB Debugging on your Android handset so that everything can work well. When connected, the PC tool installs a small app on your handset. If the connection doesn’t work with your phone, the good thing is that Fonepaw provides multiple suggestions regarding what you should do to make everything run smooth.

Step 3: Preview and Recover

Upon successful connection, you’ll be able to preview and recover SMS messages from your handset. The Fonepaw Android Data Recovery tool allows you to instantly read deleted text messages. You’ll be able to see the contact names and dates when all SMS were sent. By clicking on each name, you get some detailed information regarding all messages from the same contact. There’s an option to ONLY display deleted SMS. Once you take a look at everything, you can select all items that you want to restore and then hit the ‘Recover’ button. The previously lost text messages will now be saved on your PC.Backing up your Android SMS is a better way to keep everything intact without having to go through the trouble of recovering them. But if you get caught up in a messy situation where delete recovery is the only way out, Fonepaw provides a much better solution than most other tools I have come across. The fact that this tool works in three easy steps recovers detailed SMS information and all the same provides a no-strings-attached 30 day trial period makes it my favorite text recovery tool on Android.
