It is the beginning of the new month and Google will soon be releasing the November security patch for its Google Pixel and Nexus devices. However, Android OEMs such as Samsung, who have a long list of Android devices to update are still catching up with the October security update for Galaxy S6 Edge+.
The latest Samsung firmware update for the premium range device is currently rolling out in the continental Europe. Apart from bringing up the security level of the device to 1 October 2016, the update brings some optimizations and bug fixes from Google and Samsung as well.
The firmware version for the October security update for Galaxy S6 Edge+ brings up the firmware version of the device to XXU3BPJ3. Since the latest OTA update for the curved-edge phablet seems to be incremental, users can expect to receive the update in the coming week.

While the international variants will be updated first, carried-tied devices will probably take some more time before the update becomes available for them. Moreover, you can manually check for the latest update by heading over to Settings->About phone->Software update->Check for updates.
