It is the beginning of the new month and Google will soon be releasing the November security patch for its Google Pixel and Nexus devices. However, Android OEMs such as Samsung, who have a long list of Android devices to update are still catching up with the October security update for Galaxy S6 Edge+.

The latest Samsung firmware update for the premium range device is currently rolling out in the continental Europe. Apart from bringing up the security level of the device to 1 October 2016, the update brings some optimizations and bug fixes from Google and Samsung as well.
