The Galaxy A30 and A50 are Samsung's new mid-range devices. They used to be one of the very few smartphone manufacturers that wouldn't use the notch. But, at some point, the Infinity Display reveal came out and not too long afterwards, the Galaxy S10 series came out with the Infinity-O display.

Now, the Galaxy A30 and A50 come out with the Infinity-U display. Let's take a look at them!

Galaxy A30/50 Revealed: Not a Notch?

Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50

The whole Infinity-U display thing gives the impression that Samsung is trying to use the notch without actually admitting that they are implementing it.

If you ask us, that looks no different than the waterdrop styled notch. We've seen it before in devices like the Huawei Mate 20. So, this is really nothing new and definitely not a big deal.

What is new however, is the Galaxy A30 and A50. As you most likely already know, the Galaxy A series is mostly sitting in the budget range. That being said, the A50 will cost roughly 350 euros while the A30 is definitely going to be a bit cheaper. That's about $400 at worse for our American readers.

No need to worry. These phones may be relatively cheap, but they definitely don't feel like it.

We're talking about 6.4 Super AMOLED displays at a resolution of FHD+, thin bezels, great cameras (for the price), fingerprint scanners, lots of storage, big batteries, all around two adequately powerful phones.

All things considered, it feels like Samsung is focusing a bit on the cameras here. After all, the Galaxy A50 comes with a triple rear camera setup and a selfie sensor that boasts an incredible resolution of 25MP. More details on the specs down below!
