#1: Integration of Music videosSure, Spotify has a ton of music tunes to explore and favorite, but if this was accompanied by official music videos then the mobile app will exude a more colorful personality. In order to continue enjoying the services for free, users on the free version of Spotify ever so often see video ads, but this has never turned amounted to any official music video. Perhaps a much needed improvement in terms of video content is what the music streaming app needs to be even bigger and better. Moreover, if music video is support is added as an incentive for the subscription to Spotify services, it is likely to draw more users to the paid membership.
#2: Better gesture commandsEven though Google's voice assistant claims to offer basic support to Spotify, the integration of better gesture commands to the Android Spotify app, would be a nice improvement for both tablets and smartphones. At the time of writing, the only hands-free commands you are at liberty of applying, is the use of your sultry voice to open Spotify, play a track, pause or fast forward it. Voice commands such as playing particular songs or playlists, adding or removing tunes from a user-created playlist or requesting a popular track from a specific artist, are just some of the idea concepts that could be featured on the app. Added voice support would especially be useful for those who use Spotify while driving, as they would never take their eyes off the road to navigate through the app.
#3: Added Theme optionsCustomization options give users the ability to make an app, tablet or their phone genuinely feel their own and some additional theme setting on the Spotify music app wouldn't hurt. Whilst the default Spotify as sleek and sophisticated as the next great app, it would even better if it could be spiced once in a while with users own tastes and preferences in terms of themes and colors.
#4: Lyrics supportSome of us like to sing along to our favorite tracks or we just wanna find out what a certain artist is going on about in that popular song.Since Spotify has one of the largest music catalogs the integration of lyrics support would basically be a cherry on top. Added lyrics support would not only prevent us from embarrassing ourselves by singing misheard lyrics, but it would also make karaoke nights a lot easier, and who knows, someone might get discovered.
#5: Ability to download single tracks for offline listeningYou'd expect that one of the most popular music streaming services like Spotify would offer you the option to download a single track for offline listening, sadly this isn't the case. Navigate to a playlist and the only download option you have is to move the entire playlist to your phone's storage, but when it comes to choosing an individual song, that's a no-no. It only makes sense to add this feature, I mean why download an entire playlist if you only want a single song. There are a ton of ideas that Spotify could incorporate, these are our top five. Share with us some of the features on your Spotify wishlist that would make your experience even more worth while.
