If you are currently rocking Motorola’s Droid Turbo handset on the Verizon mobile carrier then a new update is well on its way to you. Unfortunately if you were expecting a Marshmallow update, you’ll have to wait a bit longer, as this new update is simply focused on improvements.This latest update will feature improvements to call performance as well as incorporate Android’s latest security patches, according to Verizon.  The security update is still something to smile about, as it puts the Droid Turbo among the list of Android devices that are up to date in terms of security.For those who haven’t yet been prompted to update, you can manually check its availability by going into your phone’s Settings then the About Phone section.

What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
