With their first quarter release deadline having already passed, OnePlus One owners may have given up on receiving their share of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade. There is something to look forward to though, as Carl Pei, the company's co-founder has confirmed that the update is currently in its final phases of testing.Even with this revelation, the company unfortunately failed to disclose another release target date. Pei went only as far as saying that the update would land soon, stating that there was dependency on 'other parties'. Without a specific date to count on, owners of the OnePlus One will just have to sit patient. The upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow was initially promised to the OnePlus One device back November 2015, with release target date set for the first quarter of this year.
