There is still a gap between older hardware and current software updates. As most of the newer devices are being prioritized by their manufacturers, those using older device have no choice but to wait for their turn. Its even worse when carriers from different regions release updates while yours does nothing of the such.Fortunately for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users in Canada, particularly those on Rogers network, you won't have to wait any longer, as all the Android 6.0 Marshmallow goodness is rolling out to your device. This latest update will weigh around 1.5 GB and will incorporate the latest version of Google's Android 6.0.1 mobile OS.Marshmallow was initially released back in October, bringing a number of improvements to the Android experience, with the inclusion of Doze, which boosts battery management while on sleep, Google Now on Tap, which allows scanning of current screens for relevant information, as well as configurable app permissions, which give users added control over what access they can allow to certain apps.Since the update has just been released it may take a couple of days or even weeks to see it reach your device in particular. On the other hand, you could also check the Settings menu >> About Device >> Check for Updates.Have you received the update on your Galaxy Note 4 handset? Let us know how its working for you.
