Marshmallow Hitting T-Mobile HTC One M8, LG G Stylo and Verizon’s One M8

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is being pushed out to a number of smartphones powered by major US carriers. While Verizon is releasing its Marshmallow update to the One M8, it appears T-Mobile is also doing the same for their branded HTC One M8 flagship device and the mid-range LG G Stylo. This new OS update version will bring with the familiar Android 6.0 features, as well as incorporate a couple of improvements unique to the individual manufacturers.T-Mobile has already began pushing out a software version with a 6.20.531.5. build number. Verizon's update on the other hand, is little different with a software version number of 6.21.605.3. The US carrier via their support page, revealed some of the new changes bundled in the update including added volume settings for notifications, better screenshot capture, alarms and audio as well as the Marshmallow's main set of features. The list also noted enhanced app permission controls, Google Now on Tap and the Doze battery management feature, just to mention a few.Additionally, Verizon has also released a number of minor updates to some of its brand devices. This include the latest Android security patch update heading to the carrier's Nexus 7 handset.T-Mobile is pushing out a Marshmallow update weighing 767 MB to its LG G Stylo, which will its software version up to H63120b build number. The update which according to carrier began rolling out on March 7th, will continue to reach devices across the country till round March 21st, so if you haven't received the OTA update notification, it is well on its way.
