Awesome news to HTC customers that still own the Desire 820 handset! Finally the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow experience is rolling out to you. Aside from the HTC Besire 820 being updated to the latest version of Android, it the device will also be bumped up to HTC’s Sense 7.0. In addition the update will also bring a collection of new features such as granular app permissions, Google Now on Tap, Doze mode and so much more.The update is still in its initial roll-out stages, thus it may take a day or two to see it hit your phone. You can however check if it has already landed on your device via your phone’s Settings under About Phone then Check for updates.
What's my model number?
There are several ways to locate your model number:

- On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
- Option 2
- Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
- Option 3
- Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
