After announcing that a Marshmallow 6.0.1 update for its Samsung Tab S2 device was available, AT&T also has the much-awaited update for its Blackberry Priv. This brings the smartphone to Android Version 6.0, popularly known as Marshmallow.Finally, AT&T’s Blackberry Priv users will get to experience the wealth of new features available with Android M. The devices previously packed Android 5.1.1, so this is definitely a major leap. Among many other fine-tunes, users will now enjoy a battery-saving Doze application that auto-sleeps the smartphone every time it’s not in use. Other key improvements include important security patches, more customizable data permissions, refurbished Hub panel, and enhanced support for the physical keyword. Camera upgrades now allow the device’s camera to capture stable 24 fps videos as well as slow motion.To install the update, users need to make sure that their device is sufficiently charged to avoid interruptions in the case there are black outs in the middle of the update process. You should also have a stable working Wi-Fi network since the update amounts to about 1.4 GB download. Once your device is ready, simply head to the Settings menu, Systems update then tap to “Check for updates”.

What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
