The Android Marshmallow update may be soon making its way to the pocket friendly Honor 5X. This comes after the Honor sub-brand of Huawei teased about it via a Tweet that said little about the Marshmallow update except mentioning that the roll out date would be 'coming soon'.The handset was first launched in January this year in the US market, with an Android 5.1 Lollipop software pre-loaded from the get go. Aside from its great features, the device was popular among consumers thanks to its affordable price range of US$ 200.Some of the core features that the Android Marshmallow OS will bring include Doze, enhanced app permissions, Google Now on Tap and other great features to enhance user performance. The latest security patch will probably be bundled in the update as well. The Honor brand has previously rolled out an Android 6.0 Marshmallow to its Honor 7 handset and has been pro-actively keeping the 5X up to date in terms of security patches. The complete update should be launching soon, thus stay tuned for more information on this over the course of the days or weeks.
