Samsung held its Premiere event on June 20 where they revealed a whole new set of Windows devices. One of these devices is the new Windows 8 tablet, the Samsung ATIV Q. Samsung dares to say they have created a whole new experience for users with more versatile designs and in the same time very thin bodies. Samsung says they have created the worlds thinnest tablet also, the ATIV Tab 3, but for now let’s stick to this incredible tablet that can use both Windows and Android on the same system.

The ATIV Q has the ability to change modes, from a very useful notebook to a customizable Android tablet in no time. This gives users flexibility and adaptability and the possibility to use the notebook/tablet anywhere anytime. Samsung wanted to address to users that want to use Android apps on their tablets, therefore they introduced Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 functionality into the tablet. Available through Google Play, users can download any app they want. They also have the possibility to transfer files from one operating system to another.
Because of the innovative design, the ATIV Q has 4 functional modes. By laying the display over the keyboard you can instantly turn it into a tablet. You can set the display so that it looks and works just like a laptop. The design allows you to adjust the screen in any position you want so that your viewing experience is the best. Not only you get the 4 modes design but the tablet is also portable at 1.29 Kg and 13.9mm thick.
Samsung’s ATIV Q is the device with the world’s highest resolution: QHD+ (3200×1800) display. Featuring a 13.3 inch touch screen the ppi density reaches an amazing 275 ppi which is apparently 2.8 times higher than normal Full HD displays have.
