Samsung recently launched a new gadget for their top device, the Galaxy Note II. I'm talking about the Smart Dock, a new gadget that allows you to connect the Galaxy Note II to it and use it as a computer, by connecting an HD monitor, an external storage device, a mouse and a keyboard.Indeed, what you will use is actually the Note II specifications, meaning its processor speed, Ram memory and most importantly the Android OS. But you can still edit documents, messages, and play with media files all day.The Smart Dock packages an HDMI port, USB port and a 3.5 mm stereo out. Samsung offers the Smart Dock directly at a price of $99.99.Thinking about why Samsung chose to make this accessory, who knows, maybe they wanted to take advantage of the amazing specs of the Galaxy Note II and prove that it can be as powerful as a computer. Probably this gadget won't be the must have thing for each Galaxy Note II owner, but it is indeed a cool gadget. Just the idea that you can have a desktop computer in a few minutes by simply connecting your phone to a gadget, it seems pretty cool to me.
