While LG prepares to launch the LG V20 as the first pre-installed Android 7.0 Nougat device, its successor is being kept up to date. T-Mobile has just released a brand new LG V10 update across the United States, marked as a regular security update.The official T-Mobile software update page highlights no new features to be released with the new update. However, there are a couple of optimizations mentioned as “Google security improvements” and “Software stability”.new LG V10 updateIt is not yet clear whether the new LG V10 update comes with security update from July or August. However, the rather large file size of 459MB could indicate some added improvements from either LG or the carrier T-Mobile.You should be able to see the latest new LG V10 update by T-Mobile in the next couple of days. You can also manually check for the available OTA update, head over to Settings-> About phone and tap on Software info.Make sure that your device is more than 50% charged to download the latest update to your LG V10. What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
