Trying to keep up in the Android market with all the competition that surrounds, Sony is keeping its presence alive. The Japanese tech giant is giving out Xperia XA and Xperia X update to users via OTA.The standard and the dual SIM variant of the Xperia XA are receiving the latest software update. The Xperia X update is carrying build number 33.2.A.3.74, while the Xperia XA comes with a new build number of 33.2.B.3.74.
A new firmware update has stated to roll today for Sony Xperia XA variants. Firmware build number 33.2.A.3.74 is rolling for the single SIM Xperia XA (F3111, F3113, F3115), whilst build number 33.2.B.3.74 is rolling for the dual SIM Xperia XA Dual (F3112, F3116). The new update is live across all variants.
Despite the update rolling out live across all variants worldwide, Sony has made no official statement on the Xperia XA and Xperia X update. Since the OTA update does not come with a changelog, there is no news yet on what the latest update has to offer.
Sony Mobile is rolling a new firmware update for the Xperia X with build number 34.0.A.2.301. This update doesn’t carry any changelog, but is a small update over the previous firmware version (34.0.A.2.292), so we imagine Sony has made some small bug fixes.
Are you among the Xperia XA or Xperia X users who are receiving the latest update from Sony right now? Do keep us posted on what new features, optimizations, or bug fixes you have noticed with the new OTA.
