1The Korean manufacturer is the number one handset seller int he world. But they are number two when we talk about tablets and Samsung doesn't like it. Apple is the king of tablets with a 30 percent of market share, while Samsung has only 20 percent. JK Shin, who is CEO of Mobile Division, said at a  conference at Mobile World Congress the that main focus for Samsung in 2014 will be the tablet market. He announced that:
"We will grow much higher than the market expectations of 20 percent this year. Next year, we will become a leader in tablets.”
This strategic move is logic, because Samsung's mobile phone segment sales are still growing, so they must focus also on the tablet segment to increase their market share. Shin also declared that 2014 will be a hard year for the mobile market, but still there will be a growth. He said that this is a tough market to be part of, but Samsung will be number one. Even if Samsung Galaxy S4 outsold every competitor, sales weren't as high as Samsung predicted. Samsung wants to increase it's revenues from their tablets in 2014. An important step for them was launching the Galaxy Tab series, a very good and new line of tablets, in addition to the 12.2 inch Galaxy Note Pro. It seems that Samsung will unveil the new Galaxy Tab 4 later on at MWC. And rumours are that there will be a Tab 3 Lite launch also.
