The newly released Windows 8 from Microsoft that allows touch-based operations is supposed to be the next OS for the Samsung Tablets. This is what a top executive from the company states earlier.Samsung is not giving any official approvals of this statement, saying that Android will remain their main operating system for their touch-based tablets. The Vice President of IT Solutions from Samsung, Jin Park, said that sometimes during the later half of 2013 they will launch tablets based on the Windows 8 OS. No other information was divulged, besides the fact that the tablets will be in the affordable range price. The statement was made at the New Delhi event for launching the new Samsung ATIV notebooks running Windows 8.Samsung seems to be expanding their horizon and I think that's the best thing they should do right now, with the Android OS already reaching its limits. Windows 8 has the potential to be the next OS in the phone and tablet world, and Samsung seems to see that.
