Ativ Tab 3Yesterday we presented you the world's first tablet that uses both Windows and Android on the same system. Today we will present you Samsung's newest pride, the ATIV Tab 3, which they say it is the world's thinnest Windows 8 tablet, smartphone thin actually. The ATIV Tab 3 was first presented at Samsung Premier's even on June 20, and here is what you will get from this tablet if you ever decide to buy one.

Samsung ATIV Tab 3

This tablet combines the power of computers and the functionality of Windows with the design and creativity (i'm referring to the S Pen) of the Galaxy Series that use Android. You will get integrated functionality of the S Pen with Windows' own MS Office. The design of the tablet is a first, with only 8.2 mm thickness and a weight of 550 g, this is the perfect device to take with you when you're on the go. Considering that you will want to take the ATIV Tab 3 wherever you go, the battery will last up to 10 hours, so there's no need to carry the charger with you all the time. The tablet comes pre-loaded with Office Home&Student and offers the ability to install other Windows 8 apps, but the most important feature is that it has S-Pen functionality with Office. This could really make it easy for you to create new presentations, documents or perform any other written activity. To continue with the specifications of ATIV Tab 3, I can tell you it uses an INTEL ATOM Z2760 CPU, it has 2 GB of RAM memory, a 64 GB hard drive, and a 720p HD front facing camera. The ATIV Tab 3 definitely beats any other Galaxy tablet out there, having PC worthy specifications. The only drawback that we can identify is that it uses Windows 8, a not so popular operating system compared to the simple and friendly Android. However I still think that Samsung did a great job with this tablet considering its specifications, and maybe this is Microsoft's way out of mediocrity in the outside-PC world.
