HTC and Samsung announced their new handsets this early month.  Each had its own set of amazing features. If you aren’t a Samsung or a HTC fan then you have missed the most amazing thing in life. Galaxy S6 includes vital upgrades from the S5. Meanwhile HTC One doesn’t have major changes from the previous handset, that is, HTC One (M8). M9’s design is similar to that of M8. M9’s hardware is unremarkable when it is compared to other Android devices.

Here Is a Comparison of Both Smartphones

  • Wireless charging - if you consider buying a smartphone that charges superfast, the Galaxy S6 is incomparable. The S6 has a built-in wireless charging tech. This means that there is no need for extra accessories such as wall unit charging technology. The wireless charging technology in the S6 is compatible with two wireless standards: the wireless power consortium and the power matters alliance. This means that a S6 user can charge his/her handset anywhere provided the charging pad is available
  • Price - if you consider buying a handset whose price is affordable, you will opt to purchase the HTC M9. The HTC M9 almost is worth the same as the M8. The approximate price for the HTC M9 is $599 while that of Samsung Galaxy S5 is $699.
  • Camera - if you really want a phone that has an excellent and formidable camera, the Galaxy S6 is incomparable. Samsung took the Apple like approach in advancing its camera in the new flagship. Samsung has installed the f/1.9 lenses instead of the f/2.2 in Galaxy S5.  This lets more light in dark conditions for better shots. The camera features a lower light shot and a Real time HDR. Those features enhances vivid picture taking. However, the HTC claims that it displays better images at a SLR quality.
  • Themes - HTC M9 has better themes when compared to the S6. The handset has a theme feature which enables users to create a custom look by snapping a photo.
All in all though, the Samsung Galaxy S6 gives the HTC One M9 a serious thrashing!
