Confirming the rumors that have been filling the news in the past days and also the announcement made by JK Shin the last day, Samsung has presented today in Germany its newest release: the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini.
The device targets the middle market, somewhere below premium devices, because the specs are scaled back a notch compared to the slicker Galaxy S3.
Here are some of the specifications:
Screen: 4-inch, Super AMOLED WVGA resolution display at 800×480 pixels and 233 PPI
Size & Weight:4.8 inches by 2.5 inches by 0.39 inches at 3.9 ounces
Processor: 1GH dual core
Camera: Rear Camera 5MP with LED flash, VGA front-facing camera
Connectivity: HSPA 14.4/5.76 900/1900/2100 & EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900

OS:Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
Battery: 1,500 mAh
Other features: Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, TouchWiz, S Beam, S Voice
The fact that the mini device doesn’t come with LTE technology could mean the fact that Samsung is targeting the device to the outside US market, very probably to be successful in India.
