Until yesterday, when was the official launch of the new Galaxy S5, there were some rumors that announced two versions of the new S5: one with Samsung's in-house Exynos processor and one with Qualcomm hardware. So, yesterday at the official launch, Samsung announced just the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 version of the new S5 and there was no information about the existence of a Exynos version.Samsung's blog posted an infographic that alludes an octa-core version of the Samsung Galaxy S5. It is possible that the Korean manufacturer will launch a future version of the S5 with a Exynos at a later date. The octa-core processor will have a 2.1 GHz. The problem is that the infographic is made upon S5 variants that are offered in South Korea, so it's possible that the octa-core variant will be launched in this country. It seems that Samsung is working on a Exynos Infinity processor. Last week, rumors said that this processor will be launched at MWC, but there was no information at the Unpacked event.A thing is sure, in the next couple of weeks, Samsung will launch this processor. Hope it will be in more countries than South Korea.
