Android 7.0 is surfing through for weeks now, but not all Nexus devices are feeling the love yet. While the Nougat may be already out for devices like LG V20, there is no Android Nougat for Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 LTE yet.If you are a Nexus 6 or Nexus 9 LTE owner, don’t be disheartened just yet, because Google will be releasing Nougat soon. The company has reported that it will be keeping its promise and roll out Android Nougat for Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 LTE in the upcoming weeks.

Nougat for Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will be their last

The Nexus 6 is almost 3 years old now, which came with the first version of Android 5.0 Lollipop back in 2014. However, the device has found its place on the official Nougat update list, which is expected to be the latest major software update for the device.There is no official word from Google on why the Android Nougat for Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 LTE has been delayed for so long. But if you are tired of waiting for the official release, you can always enrol into the Android Beta program.If you do plan to become a part of the Android Beta program, do expect some bugs and issues to follow with the Nougat update. What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
