A new Galaxy device was unveiled by Samsung just days ago. Based on the rumors we were expecting a more affordable version of the Galaxy Note 2, but you'll see this is nothing like that. The Galaxy Grand runs on a 1.2 GH dual core processor, with 1 GB RAM and an 8 megapixel camera. The screen is a 5 inch one with 800x600 pixels. So, at first site if you look at the spec you expect this to be a Galaxy S3 looking phone with Galaxy S2 specifications. There is no official statement of who makes the processor inside the Galaxy Grand, but we expect it to be a Qualcomm.Other information about the device: There will be two versions of this device. A single SIM version with device number GT-I9080 and a dual SIM GT-I9082. Luckily the device will come out directly with Android 4.1.2 but there's not exact date for the release or at what price the device will be available. We believe the pricing would be situated somewhere between Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S3, so that should be around 400 EUR. But what does this device really offer? A big screen with mid range specs? Not very appealing if you ask me.
