One of the hardware that they are developing is the pressure sensitive touchscreens, that Samsung names Touch Display Apparatus Sensing Touch Force.The idea is simple, The actual pressure sensing touchscreen needs installing additional sensors and processing which measures the information. Samsung wants to incorporate force sensing in the touchscreen. This is possible by including a processor in the display. The layers of piezoresistive material, that are made of carbon nanotube or graphene, are put in layers in the display. So resistors that are embedded in the piezoresistive layer will measure the pressure.Samsung is using predefined time constants for completing both operational touch commands and measure pressure.
