Verizon is the largest North American carrier. From now on it takes pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy S5. The new flagship is priced a $599 without contract and at $199 with a two year contract. Users that pre-order the device will get it on April 11, the same day that the official debut is set. Verizon has a sweet deal for it’s users. It is named BOGO ( Buy One, Get One ). This deal is for Galaxy S5 – if you a buy one on a two year contract, you could get another phone for free. The thing is that you could get the new S5 also or the new Windows ATIV SE, though you should pre-order right now to take the deal.

Verizon’s S5 has the same specs as other carriers. A 5.1 inch Super AMOLED screen at 1080p resolution. a processor of 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801, two GB of RAM and the newest camera of 16 MP camera. It will have 16 GB of internal storage with a microSD slot card. It will feature Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, HSPA+ and NFC connectivity. The battery model will be a 2800 mAh. The software is a Android 4.4.2 KitKat that features a Ul. The unique feature of S5 is that it has a fingerprint sensor and a heart rate monitor conencted to S Health, a new app that brings on a lot of your medical condition. Galaxy S5 is dustproof and water-proof, too.
