If you do not have Any.DO already then it might be a good idea to get it especially if you haven't found a replacement for Astrid.Description of Any.DOAny.DO is one of the favorite apps for those who had to abandon Astrid. And for good reasons in our opinion. First of all, Any.DO has an excellent design which is more or less important when you first get in touch with it. But if you look at its functionality you find many other excellent features. To begin with, it seamlessly syncs with cloud so that you can manage everything on all of your devices. If you want to remove a task you can just drag-and-drop it and completed ones can just be swiped off.But there are a number of features that are not as visible as these. For example, if you have a missed call, Any.DO will remind you of this. You have four options: you can make the call on the spot, you can dismiss the notification, you can say you already did it or you can tell the app o remind you after a while, be it a couple of minutes, hours or the next day. If you are in a meeting or on a date and someone calls you and you can't answer, Any.do has you covered. The app will offer you a choice of short and comprehensive messages, like "I'll call you later" or "Can't talk now. What's up?" to assure the person that their call has been acknowledged but that you could not answer. After this you can make the app remind you later of the call you have to make.Not enough? Well then we should probably mention that Any.DO also lets you turn your emails into reminder due to its Chrome extension. Because of this a "Remind Me" button will appear when you open an email in Chrome. If you're not using Chrome, that's okay. You can send an email at [email protected]. The subject will be the actual task that has to be performed while the notes will be represented by what you actually write in the email itself. You can also create recurring task and if you have a lot of tasks completed you can remove them by simply shaking your phone.ConclusionAny.DO can be downloaded from the Play Store for free.
