While Nexus users enjoy Android Nougat, Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 Active users are just happy to have Marshmallow. AT&T has finally rolled out Android 6.0 for both 2014 flagship devices after months of dreaded anticipation from the users.Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 Active comes three months after the same update was rolled out by T-Mobile and Verizon. The newest update comes to the two devices from AT&T after ten months.The Galaxy S5 receives a build number MMB29M.G900AUCU4DPH2, while the Galaxy S5 Active update has MMB29M.G870AUCU2DPH2. With a file of over 900MB you will receive the following updates:

Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 Active Changelog:

The latest Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 Active update also bring Google’s latest August security patch. If you are among the eligible AT&T users, expect the update notification to reach you within a couple of days.You can also manually look for the latest update by heading over to Settings->About phone->Software update->Check for updates. What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
