Android 5.1.1 update for Galaxy S6 Edge &Galaxy S6 is available for download. The Lollipop update includes bug fixes, performance improvements and brand new features. Some of the features include apps organization that is based on the alphabetical order, photo exposure controls, wallpaper motion effects, S Finder from notification shade & ability to get rid of QuickConnect.

1. Exposure Slider in Camera app

Open your camera application then tap on it. You’ll see a new exposure slider. On sliding the light-bulb icon decreases or increases the exposure. The only problem with the update is that the RAW image isn’t included in the update for the S6 Edge and S6.

2. Alphabetizing App Icons

Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update has the capability of alphabetizing app icons to keep them organized. On opening the Quick settings you will be able to see this option. Tap on ‘Edit’, and the A – Z button will let you organize all your applications alphabetically.

3. Removing S Finder and QuickConnect from notification shade

The capability of the app to remove the S Finder and QuickConnect from the notifications is among the most awaited features in the new update. By getting rid of the applications from the notification shade gives a lot of space. To get rid of the S Finder and QuickConnect from notification shade, tap on ‘edit’ and get rid of the ticks from the boxes of those applications.
