Just a few days after the official release of Android 4.1.2 version for Nexus 7, the updated mobile OS is now also available over-the-air for Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S. So if you own one of these devices, stay sharp because any time you should be prompted with the update. It seems that on Nexus 7, the update allows landscape mode on the home screen. Apparently on the Nexus devices this is not an option. the official release says that the update fixes bugs and increases performance. This is not a huge update but at least it brings some improvements.Another user-facing feature that is brought by the Android 4.1.2 update is the single-finger scroll option for expandable notifications. You can see more about this in the video below. We will also keep you updated if anything else comes to our attention. http://youtu.be/a6dzMzklEd4

What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
